The Marshall Boosters supports the extracurricular sports and activities at Marshall High School. We are a dedicated group of parents that strive to support our school's activities and sports by fundraising to properly equip and protect our students. FCPS budgets provide the basics of referees and transportation. Booster fundraising provides support for our student athletes in the form of equipment, uniforms and warm-ups, balls, padding and helmets, mats and practice equipment, and other supplies necessary for our students to compete.

Boosters helps organize the sports banquets recognizing our athletes each sports season and helps publicize our students' accomplishments to the community.

Our fundraising goals are high and we need the support of every community member. Major fundraising events are the seasonal Christmas Tree Sale, the spring Mulch sale, memberships, donations and sponsorships, concession stand sales, spirit wear sales and more.

The Marshall Booster Club supports all extra-curricular activities at GCM. We sponsor fundraisers that are well-organized, designed to minimize the amount of time involved, and offer a great way to meet members of the GCM community. Volunteer just 2 to 3 hours PER YEAR and you help insure that your student has the support needed to compete in Liberty District athletics and activities.

There are numerous ways to volunteer your time to support the Boosters.

  • Serve as a team rep for your student’s team, sharing in-season news with boosters so we can share it in the newsletter.

  • Help set-up/clean-up at sports banquets and meet the coaches nights

  • Volunteer in the concessions stand when your team is in-season (or out of season!)

  • Take a shift at the Christmas Tree Lot – especially easy to do when your student athlete volunteers!

  • Love retail? Consider helping with spirit wear! Help set-up/clean-up the spirit wear sales tables at school wide events.

  • Well connected? Help get businesses you know to sponsor the Boosters. From signs around the fields to their names announced, businesses gain wide exposure in GCM’s often-used fields and facilities.

  • Want to get to know your school community? Help with memberships and pass sales at Statesmen Start and Back to School Night.

  • Not sure? There is always something you can do. Just ask.
